BASF expands Asphalt Performance team in light of growing tasks
- Sebastian Miesem, head of DSK and Asphalt Preservation at POSSEHL SPEZIALBAU GmbH, will join BASF SE on 1 April 2021 and take over the role of senior technical marketing manager for Asphalt Performance, E-EDE/BR, on 1 May 2021.
- Michael Neliepp, currently senior technical marketing manager for Asphalt Performance, E-EDE/BR, will support BASF SE as senior consultant for Asphalt Performance, E-EDE/BR, starting 1 May 2021.

Sebastian Miesem, head of DSK and Asphalt Preservation at POSSEHL SPEZIALBAU GmbH, will join the Asphalt Performance business unit in April 2021. Sebastian brings many years of experience in the asphalt sector, having developed innovative solutions for bitumen and asphalt products and worked extensively on product quality testing. In his last position, he was branch manager for asphalt surface coatings at POSSEHL SPEZIALBAU GmbH.
Michael Neliepp will be using his excellent expertise as a senior consultant and representing the interests of BASF Asphalt Performance in the most important industry associations of the asphalt/bitumen industry.
