Enjoy the best of two worlds with our new dispersion

This new binder dispersion is a serious alternative for topcoats requiring high gloss and clarity as well as excellent chemical resistance. Basonol^® AC 2120 W provides the properties of primary dispersions ­– faster drying and a longer pot life – as well as the high gloss, low haze, and good compatibility with hydrophobic polyisocyanates of secondary dispersions. What’s more, thanks to its OH of 120, you can achieve a chemical and scratch resistance similar to that of a competitive product with an OH of 170 – and with less polyisocyanate.

When used in combination with Acronal^® PRO 770 as primer, Basonol^® AC 2120 W exhibits high corrosion resistance. This is a 100% water-borne system!

All these properties, together with outstanding adhesion to different substrates, including metal, e-coatings, plastic, and glass, make Basonol^® AC 2120 W an excellent candidate for the formulation of 2K water-based polyurethane topcoats for various industrial applications, including architecture, construction, engineering, transportation, general industrial, and protective coatings.
