Dear Customer,

If you happened to join our webinar series on more sustainable packaging solutions in March, thanks for meeting with us. We were delighted to connect with so many customers, prospects and partners during the various sessions and in our follow-up conversations. If you missed the webinars, no worries. The prime focus of our activities remains water-based systems and we have exciting news to report. Read on to discover more about our Joncryl^® DPS water-based resins for digital primers, inks and overprint varnishes, and our smart rheology modifiers for water-based ink-jet printing inks. Another recent innovation is our Joncryl^® HBP technology, which allows you to replace plastic in packaging.

Let’s also talk about PRETHINK INK, the industry network we started last year: It has grown significantly and is giving a bigger voice to companies who are successfully using water-based technology for flexible packaging. Lastly, as the new head of the Printing & Packaging team, let me briefly introduce myself. I have worked at BASF in various business management functions for 33 years. For the last 12 of these I led our resins business for Automotive & Industrial Coatings and our resins sales team in Europe. Now, I am keen to dive deeper into the world of printing & packaging. One thing that will not change is my team’s commitment to driving innovation, pushing sustainable solutions and working hand in hand with you, our customers and partners. I am very much looking forward to getting to know you.
