How we restarted the discussion about water-based ink technology for flexible packaging

It’s been a year since we gave you an update on the sustainability initiative we founded in 2020: the PRETHINK INK network (read our last article). The network promotes a shared focus, understanding and implementation of the benefits of water-based inks. It recruited six partners in its first year, and is on track to at least double that figure in 2022.

As initiators of the network, we are proud of what it has already accomplished. There is now a real conversation in the value chain about water-based inks: a wide range of industry voices sharing their stories and offering real-life experiences on how to make them work on film and flexible packaging. Our web seminar in March even saw some brand owners joining to catch the latest developments. If you missed the session, no worries: you can download all the materials here.
