Newsletter Resins & Additives for Printing & Packaging
A new binder, a new additive and your chance to meet us virtually
Dear Reader,
Welcome to our fifth newsletter of 2020. I hope you continue to keep safe and well.
We are proud to announce two successful new developments. If you’re into food contact applications, take a look at our innovative binder Joncryl® HPB 4011, which not only has outstanding sealing properties but is also recyclable. Or are you perhaps in search of a defoamer with excellent additional benefits besides its defoaming and deaerating action? If so, we’ve created just the product for you with Efka® PB 2770!
To ensure that we keep in touch with you and provide opportunities for discussion, we’re holding a web seminar on resins for Printing & Packaging on November 4. My colleague Jan van Delft from our commercial marketing team will explain our Biomass Balance Approach and how you can reduce your environmental impact by using renewable materials.
In our July newsletter we introduced our new PRETHINK INK network to you. In this edition we’ve included a short update describing how this novel venture is bringing together players throughout the ink value chain ‒ more necessary than ever in these times of physical separation.
I hope that you will enjoy reading this issue and wish you all the best on behalf of the whole Printing & Packaging team.
